To strengthen our internal finance team, we are looking for a Finance Controller (f/m/d) who takes ownership, turns numbers into meaningful insights, and acts as a sparring partner for both management and accounting (nationally and internationally).

Your tasks – Challenging & varied

  • Coordinate and further develop planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

  • Analyze cost, revenue, and performance drivers, including deriving actionable recommendations

  • Create and optimize standard reports and automated controlling tools in Excel and DATEV

  • Support the month-end close process and collaborate closely with internal accounting

  • Contribute to finance improvement projects, e.g., reporting automation

  • Present complex topics to the management team — clearly, visually, and decision-oriented

  • Establish and further develop cost center structures in DATEV

  • Manage general ledger accounting and reconcile balance sheet accounts

  • Support month-end closings in accordance with German GAAP (HGB), including preparations and reconciliations in DATEV

  • Support quarterly and year-end closings in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) in DATEV

  • Assist with invoicing in the company’s own CRM system

Your profile – Convincing & Ambitious

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable qualification

  • Broad finance background with expertise in controlling and close collaboration with accounting

  • Experience in month-end closing processes and/or coordination

  • Several years of professional experience in controlling

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong communication and visualization skills, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders

  • Independent, structured, and team-oriented working style
